Russian vessel "Angara" with 570 cars on board burned in the Sea of Japan - the Japanese refused to fight it

The Russian carrier Angara was transporting 570 cars from Japan to Vladivostok, but on the way the entire cargo burned down. The Japanese refused to help the Russians extinguish the ship.

The fire on the ship happened on June 25, when the ship was on its 20th voyage from Japan to the Russian Federation. The cargo was insured. The Russian company Japan Auto Lines states that the Japanese refused to help put out the fire, so the Russian ship Olkhon went to the rescue.

The Japanese newspaper "Hokkoku" writes that all 570 cars burned down along with the living quarters. The ship's crew survived. Now Russian diplomats are solving issues related with the return of citizens.
