Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed Russian Ka-52 combat helicopters for $64,000,000 in five days
The Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down several Ka-52 Alligator helicopters for a total amount of about $64,000,000.
What is known
At the end of last week, the Nikolaev paratroopers shot down the first helicopter using the Igla anti-aircraft missile system. The next day, the soldiers of the 95th separate air assault brigade distinguished themselves. They are destroyed the Ka-52 with the help of British MANPADS martlet .
A day later, Zhytomyr paratroopers hit with an anti-aircraft missile system Startstreak. Oddly enough, on June 29 there was no information about the downed helicopters, but already on June 30, the Ka-52 Alligator was shot down near Snake Island.
The Russian military, who were driven off the island, decided to conduct reconnaissance, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the helicopter. After being hit, the aircraft crashed into the sea. This is the fourth Ka-52 Alligator helicopter shot down in five days. The cost of one is approximately $16 000 000.
