Ukrainian APC-3E with "Barrier" anti-tank missile system was shown in action by the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The Armed Forces of Ukraine filmed a video showing a Ukrainian BTR-3E armored personnel carrier.
What is known
The video shows training firing from the Barrier anti-tank missile system. The BTR-3E is armed with the KBA-117 30 mm automatic grenade launcher and the 3TM-1 30 mm cannon fitted with 350 rounds.
The BTR-3E is a Ukrainian-made armoured fighting vehicle designed to provide fire support in combat and transport personnel. The troop compartment accommodates 10 people. Overall dimensions of the APC are 765 x 290 x 286 cm.
The armored personnel carrier has rolled steel armor, which provides protection against bullets and shrapnel. The engine 6R 106 TD21 has 325 horsepower and allows speeds up to 100 km/h on the highway. It has a range of 600 km and 360 km on the highway and cross-country, respectively.
