iPhone 11 Pro saved the life of a Ukrainian military man
In recent months, for obvious reasons, we have rarely written about smartphones, concentrating on military topics. But now comes that rare occasion when the two topics are intertwined. The company Apple often talks at presentations about how its products save lives. A Ukrainian military man recently made sure of that.
What is known
Usually Apple talks about a smart watch that detects that the user's life is in danger and manages to send a notification to the hospital. In this case, however, it was the old iPhone 11 Pro smartphone that distinguished itself.
The 2019 model saved the life of a member of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. And not by software means. Details of the incident are not specified. The video contains profanity.
It should be noted that the equipment Apple saves not everyone. In the spring, a Russian occupant decided to replace the plate in his armor with a stolen MacBook. Both the soldier and the laptop ended up departing.
