What is known
On the evening of July 15, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down a cruise missile over the Kiev region. This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Alexei Kuleba. Later, a video surfaced on the net of how a Su-27 fighter jet pursued the missile and successfully destroyed it.
The video was shot by one of the residents of the town of Bila Tserkva. Apparently, the fighter used a short-range R-73 air-to-air guided missile, which has an infrared guidance system. The wreckage of the missile fell into the field. No one was injured as a result.
