One Ukrainian S-300 PT surface-to-air missile system destroyed six Russian UAVs and 21 cruise missiles

The S-300 PT surface-to-air missile systems continue to successfully shoot down enemy airborne objects that appear in the skies above Ukraine.

What is known

One surface-to-air missile system has already been able to destroy nearly three dozen Russian unmanned aerial vehicles and cruise missiles. The Ukrainian military marks the downed targets on the hull of the SAM.

As we can see, the first airborne object was destroyed on March 12. It was a cruise missile. Moreover, for a very long time the anti-aircraft missile system shot down only missiles. The first unmanned aerial vehicle was destroyed in early April. The second was destroyed the same day.

In total, the Ukrainian military shot down 21 cruise missiles and six drones with one S-300 PT SAM. The anti-aircraft missile system worked very well on July 5 - it shot down six cruise missiles at once in one day.
