Iranian Mohajer-6 attack drone with speed up to 200 km/h and Almas anti-tank missiles with a launch range of 200 km were demonstrated in Russia
At the Army-2022 forum, the Russians showed the Iranian Mohajer-6 combat drone. It seems that now we can answer the question what UAVs Russia bought from Iran.
What we know
The Mohajer-6 is an attack drone built according to a twin-beam design. It is equipped with a pusher propeller, which is mounted in the rear. The drone has a takeoff weight of 670 kg and can carry a payload of up to 100 kg.
The drone is equipped with four third-generation Almasanti-tank missiles. They are considered an analogue of the Israeli-made Spike missiles and are used on a "shoot-forget" principle. The maximum launch range is 8 km.
The drone itself can move away from the operator at 200 km. The maximum flight altitude is 5500 m. Mohajer-6 can stay in the air up to 12 hours. For takeoff and landing the drone is enough to have a usual road. In case of an emergency landing a parachute is provided. In flight, the UAV can reach a speed of 200 km/h.
