What we know
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have landed Eleron-3 unmanned aerial vehicles at least twice. Now the turn has come to the Eleron T28ME. This is a more advanced drone that can stay in the air longer.
The Russian army uses the Eleron T28ME to correct artillery fire and conduct reconnaissance. The drone can reach speeds of up to 130 km/h, climb to an altitude of up to 5 km and remain in flight for three hours.
The maximum takeoff weight of the Eleron T28ME is 6.5 kg. The drone can carry a payload of up to 1.5 kg. A pneumatic launcher is used to launch the drone, and a parachute system is used for landing.
