The Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated a Russian armored personnel carrier using an unmanned aerial vehicle.
What we know
What kind of drone was used is unknown. But the video shows the drone dropping about a dozen American-made M430A1 rounds on the BTR-82A armored personnel carrier.
The 40 x 53 mm round is a versatile grenade with a penetration of 75 mm or 76 mm of steel. The M430A1 HEDP is an improved version of the M430 HEDP round with a 50 mm or 51 mm steel penetration.
