On August 25, Sony announced that it was forced to raise the price of the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition in all regions except the U.S. However, Microsoft, a direct competitor of Sony, noted that it is not going to change the prices for its consoles.
Here's What We Know
According to Windows Central, a Microsoft spokesperson said, "There are no plans to raise prices on the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. They will remain at the base recommended price in a variety of currencies, including U.S. dollars, pounds sterling and euros."
XBOX Prices Right Now Are As Follows:
- Series X - $500, £450, €500
- Series S - $300, £250, €300
Although Windows Central said that this is not a firm guarantee that we will never see a price increase on Microsoft consoles.
