Following Microsoft, Nintendo announced that it, too, does not intend to raise the price of its Nintendo Switch consoles.

Here's What We Know

Upon request from Eurogamer, Nintendo said that prices for the Nintendo Switch remain unchanged. Nintendo president Mr. Furukawa said: "Although we cannot comment on pricing strategies, there are no plans to change the price of our hardware due to inflation or other economic processes at this time. Of course, the final price to consumers is always determined by retailers, but Nintendo has no plans to raise the price of its equipment."

Flashback

Sony said on August 25 that it was forced, due to inflation, to raise the price of PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition in all countries except the U.S. After that, Microsoft said it had no intention of changing the XBOX Series X|S price. Now Nintendo has also made its announcement. But whether these companies really will not go the way of Sony only time will tell.
