Adjustable trigger lengths, stick changes, and extra buttons: Sony revealed more about the DualSense Edge controller

At Gamescom 2022, Sony showed off its new DualSense Edge controller for the PlayStation 5. Now, to tell you more, there' s a separate page for the controller on the PlayStation website.

Here's What We Know

The site lists new features and innovations for the DualSense Edge

  • Two additional buttons under the controller. There will be two interchangeable sets of buttons that can be set up with any other input button to access game-changing actions.
  • Interchangeable sticks. There will now be three types of interchangeable sticks to help you get comfortable while playing without sacrificing grip or stability.
  • Adjustable chicken length. You can now manually set the stroke distance of the left and right triggers during play.

More details about personalized control profiles appeared

  • Reconfigurable buttons. It is possible to reconfigure or even turn off certain buttons to create a completely personalized control setup that is perfect for the current game.

  • User interface on the controller. You can quickly switch between preset control profiles. The new Fn button will help with this. With it, you can set the game volume and chat balance and adjust settings while staying focused on the game. You can also instantly access the controller settings menu to easily adjust and test new control iterations.
  • Stack Adjustment. You can now adjust stack sensitivity, fix blind spots, and even set vibration intensity for personalized playback.

Along with this, the controller will come with a special case in which you can even charge the gamepad. Sony has also published a complete package:
