Baykar announced the imminent start of deliveries of Bayraktar TB2 strike drones to the Polish Armed Forces.

Here's What We Know

Haluk Bayraktar, head of Baykar, told Anadolu Agency that the Turkish manufacturer is in talks with a number of countries to supply combat drones. Poland ordered 24 Bayraktar TB2 drones in May 2021. The company's director talks about the preparation of four aircraft complexes.

Polish servicemen are currently completing training in the use of the drones, and deliveries will begin next month. At the same time, Poland will receive modified versions of the Bayraktar TB2. In particular, the changes will affect the radar, but there are no details on this yet.

It is also possible that the Bayraktar TB2 for Poland will be equipped with Polish kamikaze drones Warmate, which are actively supplied to Ukraine. Appropriate negotiations were held between Baykar and WB Group, but there is no information about their results either.
