Boeing received $3.1 billion to produce KC-46A Pegasus air tankers for Israel and the US

Boeing was awarded contracts to produce and deliver the KC-46A Pegasus air tankers.

Here's What We Know

A few days ago Boeing signed a $927 million contract with the Israeli Ministry of Defense for the delivery of four tanker aircraft. Deliveries will last until December 2026. This is part of the purchase program, under which Israel will also receive fifth-generation F-35 Lightning II fighters, submarines, modern ammunition and helicopters.

Another contract Boeing has signed with the United States Air Force. The company will supply 15 KC-46A Pegasus aircraft until November 2025. The cost of this deal is $2.2 billion. Thus, Boeing received two contracts for $3.1 billion in total.
