The Taliban demonstrated the Elbrus operational-tactical missile system with a ballistic missile with a range of 300 km

The Taliban held a military parade at Bagram air base. The occasion was the first anniversary of the withdrawal of the American army from Afghanistan.

Here's What We Know

A lot of military equipment was on display at the parade, including the Elbrus operational-tactical complex. It uses an 8K-14 (R-17) liquid-propellant ballistic missile and is used to destroy important enemy infrastructure. The launch range is 300 km. The complex was developed more than 60 years ago, so it is far from being in optimal combat condition now.

The Taliban also demonstrated the Luna-M operational-tactical complex with a 9M21 missile. In this case the launch range is a modest 70 km. In addition, Uragan multiple rocket launchers and Mi-17, Mi-24, MD530F and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters took part in the parade.
