CD Projekt Red president Adam Kiczynski revealed some details about the first game of the new trilogy in the The Witcher universe

CD Projekt Red has announced five new projects, three of which belong to the The Witcher franchise.

At a recent conference with investors, the president of the company, Adam Kicinski, shed some light on some of the details of one of them, Polaris.

Here's What We Know

  • Polaris will be the first game from the future trilogy of CD Projekt Red The Witcher universe;
  • It will be the first project for the Polish company, created on the Unreal Engine 5. Since this is a new technology for CD Projekt, the development of the first game of the saga will take more than three years;
  • The developers plan to release subsequent parts of the series at intervals of three years.

However, based on the previous experience of the company's projects, we can say that 3 years of development is too optimistic a forecast.
