CD Projekt Red has announced five new projects, three of which belong to the The Witcher franchise.
At a recent conference with investors, the president of the company, Adam Kicinski, shed some light on some of the details of one of them, Polaris.
Here's What We Know
- Polaris will be the first game from the future trilogy of CD Projekt Red The Witcher universe;
- It will be the first project for the Polish company, created on the Unreal Engine 5. Since this is a new technology for CD Projekt, the development of the first game of the saga will take more than three years;
- The developers plan to release subsequent parts of the series at intervals of three years.
However, based on the previous experience of the company's projects, we can say that 3 years of development is too optimistic a forecast.
