To develop a new game in the Cyberpunk universe, the Polish company will open a new division in Boston, CD Projekt Red North America
Yesterday Cyberpunk 2077 announced the development of five major projects at once, among which is mentioned Orion - a game in the Cyberpunk universe.
Finally, the first explanations about the plans for this game appeared.
Here's What We Know
One of the Cyberpunk 2077 development managers Paul Sasko (Paweł Sasko) said that full work on the Orion will begin in 2023, immediately after the release of the story addition Phantom Liberty for Cyberpunk 2077.
Especially for this project will open a new division of CD Projekt Red North America, which will be located in Boston (USA), but full support for game designers will have colleagues from Warsaw and Vancouver.
I'm moving to Boston together with the core team responsible for Cyberpunk 2077 to establish new studio and be the foundation for the North American team.
