Obsidian Entertainment, which is developing the RPG Pentiment, has announced that the game supports 60 frames per second on all Xbox consoles
After the news that Gotham Knights on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series runs only at 30 fps, it seems that now studios will have to officially announce that their game supports 60 frames per second. This was done by the developers of the game Pentiment, stating that the game will support 60 frames.
Here's What We Know
This was announced in his Twitter by Josh Sawyer (Jaws Slayer), game director of Pentiment. He said that on Xbox Series S the game runs at 1440p/60 fps, on Xbox One 1080p/60 fps, and on Xbox Series 4K/60 fps.
Josh warned that the frame rate may drop on Xbox One in some 3D scenes, but there are very few such moments in the game. In general, this project is definitely not worth worrying about.
