Yesterday we wrote about the fact that Gotham Knights on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series works only in 30 fps. Before that, the developers refused to release the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to make the game better and adapt to the new generation. However, we all see the result. Some people started to cancel their pre-orders, because not everyone can accept the fact that the game cannot run at 60 fps on next-gen consoles.

As an example, Insomniac Games was able to optimize Marvel's Spider-Man on PS5 so much: Miles Morales that the game can run at 60 frames with ray tracing.
You've got Insomniac Games optimising their game to the point it runs up to 120fps (with the right setup) whilst also having RT enabled.

And the moment that I wanted to leave for the last - a comparison with Batman: Arkham Knight. The graphics here are so ahead of their time that even in 2022 it may seem that the game was released quite recently. In general, it's hard to believe that Arkham Knight is 7 years old. At that time, let's be honest, the graphics of Gotham Knights does not even resemble Batman 2015, although both games run at 30 fps.

There are many opinions why this happened. But it is difficult to realize that such a game could not be pulled up to 60 frames per second. The community's dissatisfaction was expected, so now we just have to wait for a response from the developers. Will they change everything or leave it as it is?
