On September 18, a hacker published dozens of gameplay footage of the upcoming GTA VI and its source code on the gtaforums website. And the famous game journalist Jason Schreier confirmed that the footage is real. However, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick assured that the data leak does not affect the development of the game.

Here's What We Know

According to VGC, Zelnick said that the company takes such incidents very seriously, but it does not affect the development.

"There’s no evidence that any material assets were taken, which is a good thing, and certainly the leak won’t have any influence on development or anything of the sort, but it is terribly disappointing and causes us to be ever more vigilant on matters relating to cybersecurity"

Flashback

On September 23, London police arrested a hacker who leaked the gameplay of an early version of GTA VI. The most interesting thing is that it is a 17-year-old teenager. However, he did not admit his guilt.
