France recently transferred TRF1 howitzers to Ukraine and the supply of French weapons does not end there.

Here's What We Know

According to Sebastien Lecornu, Minister of Defense, France is preparing a new batch of Caesar self-propelled artillery units. We are talking about six self-propelled artillery systems. They will be handed over to the AFU in the next few weeks. Most likely, they will be units which were originally intended for the Danish Armed Forces.

Flashback

Caesar is a French 155 mm self-propelled artillery unit designed to destroy manpower, artillery batteries, pillboxes, as well as provide passages in minefields and field barriers. Maximum firing range of the SAU is 42 km (depending on the projectile). It is capable of firing 6 rounds per minute. It is operated by a crew of 4-5 people. Ukraine currently has 18 such units in service.
