The release of God of War Ragnarok took place on November 9 and the attention to the game does not subside. The continuation of the story of Kratos and Atreus is actively discussed on Twitch and the game has already received several achievements that we want to talk about.

Here's What We Know

According to Sullygnome, in 5 days the audience watched 22 million hours of God of War gameplay. And the maximum number of viewers reached the mark of 480 thousand.

But the last figure is worth talking more about. Yes, it is impressive, but it does not reach the best among the story games. This year's leader was Elden Ring - at the release the peak viewing of the broadcast with the game was 875 thousand. And this is not the biggest indicator. On December 10, on the day of Cyberpunk 2077 release, more than one million people gathered around the broadcast with the game, which makes it the leader today.

Flashback

God of War Ragnarok is a direct sequel to God of War (2018). The project is developed by Santa Monica studio. The events unfold in Scandinavian mythology and tell about the plight of the former Greek god of war Kratos, who moved to Scandinavia, started a family and is trying to become a real father to his young son Atreus. However, the traumas of the past do not allow Kratos to get over himself.

God of War Ragnarok was released on November 9 exclusively for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
