We recently wrote that North Macedonia had handed over Su-25 planes to the AFU and might send Ukraine Mi-24 helicopters. This information has now been confirmed.

Here's What We Know

According to the Defence Minister, the North Macedonian General Staff has approved the delivery of the helicopters. Now the parliament of the country should do so as well.

Northern Macedonia has a total of 12 Mi-24 helicopters in service. They were purchased from Ukraine in 2001. By the way, some of the helicopters have been modernized. The Israeli company Elbit Systems was engaged in it. The helicopters are adapted for interaction with NATO forces. They received new avionics, allowing the use of night vision goggles and night vision system Aviators. The modified versions of the Mi-24 have also been fitted with a modern navigation system, infrared lighting and other improvements.

Flashback
