Northern Macedonia confirms transfer of Su-25 aircraft to Ukraine

In the summer of 2022, information appeared on the Internet that Northern Macedonia transfers four Su-25 attack aircraft to Ukraine. Now the country's government has officially confirmed it.

This was announced by the North Macedonian Defence Minister Slavjanka Petrovska. We are talking about three single-seat Su-25s and one two-seat Su-25UB. In addition, Macedonia transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine equipment and ammunition for the aircraft, as well as anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons.

By the way, the country's government has also approved a new military assistance package for Ukraine. What exactly it includes Macedonia does not say for security reasons. According to the local media, it may be attack helicopters Mi-24. Northern Macedonia has 12 of them in total.
