Flashback
Caesar is a French 155 mm medium-range gun, which is designed to destroy manpower, artillery batteries and bunkers, as well as to open minefields and field barriers. The SAU has a maximum firing range of 42 km, although last year a projectile with a range of up to 70 km was introduced for installation. The Caesar SAU is capable of firing 6 rounds per minute. It is operated by a crew of 4-5 people. Now Ukraine has 18 such units. By the way, the Danish version of Caesar SAU differs from the French one. It has greater weight, better armor and ammunition includes 36 rounds, not 18.
