Recently, in the database of the American FCC regulator, the Nokia TA-1047 mobile phone with unusual outlines of the hull was noted. Chinese insiders helped to open the veil of secrecy - HMD is preparing a model with a hardware QWERTY-keyboard.

What is known?

According to preliminary data, Nokia TA-1047 will receive a 3.3-inch display with a resolution of 480x480 pixels, and inside will be used a simple chipset Qualcomm 205. As an operating system, KaiOS is the port of the already deceased Firefox OS with support for HTML5 applications, which focuses on push-button telephones. It is noteworthy that Indian Reliance quickly became disillusioned with this platform and curtailed sales of JioPhone on its basis. The manufacturer decided to switch to Android (maybe both its own modification of the OS, and lightweight Android Go ).

Apparently, HMD is not going to compete with BlackBerry / TCL and revive the business line of Nokia Eseries. Novelty is closer to inexpensive phones C-series and Asha (in the above image the device is shown next to the old man Nokia Asha 210). The dimensions of the body are 133x68 mm.

Since the manufacturer has already engaged in certification of Nokia TA-1047, the announcement of the device is just around the corner. The official premiere can take place at CES 2018 or the February World Mobile Congress MWC.
