Sony Xperia X and X Compact upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo
Sony has always quickly updated its smartphones. After the recent announcement that the company will support its flagship smartphones within two years, the manufacturer immediately released Android Oreo for the inexpensive smartphone Xperia X and X Compact.
What changed
The update came out with the build number 34.4.A.0.364. Both smartphones received a new function Xperia Actions, which will automatically select device settings depending on the use of the smartphone. Also a little updated interface settings and curtain notifications, added the feature "Picture in Picture" (PIP), AutoComplete and installed a fresh security patch.
The new OS will receive two versions of Xperia X (F5121 and F5122) and the global version of X Compact (F5321).
When to expect
OTA-update has already started to send to smartphones, so expect a notification.
