Samsung suspended the update of Android Oreo for Galaxy S8 and S8 +

Samsung last week began sending out an update to Android Oreo for the Galaxy S8 and S8 + . But according to the SamMobile resource, the manufacturer suspended it a week later.

What is known

Many users have already received a fresh OS, for example in Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Norway, France, Belgium, India and Russia. But due to a critical error in the system, the update distribution decided to suspend. Therefore, the company has already started creating a new assembly. Those who managed to upgrade will receive another update with fixes.

In the dry residue

Such situations happen very often. For example, the same thing happened with the update for Xiaomi Mi A1 and OnePlus 5 . But let's hope that sooner or later, users of the Galaxy S8 and S8 + will receive the long-awaited Android Oreo.
