Korean insiders have unearthed information about the mysterious service of Samsung called Uhsupp. As expected, the flagship smartphone Galaxy S9 and S9 + will be the first to receive a new application.

Attempt number three

Samsung has already registered the trademark Uhsupp in South Korea and Europe. This is a reduction of "You, What's up?" - on WhatsApp never seems like, yeah. If to believe rumors, under the strange name the next hybrid of a social network and the messenger disappears. Users will be able to share their location in real time and exchange messages with friends.

Before that Samsung already had two branded instant messengers. ChatOn safely shut down in early 2015. In the same autumn, the Korean giant introduced the social platform Socializer Messenger based on Telegram with support for web applications, but since then nothing has been heard about the project.

Now the story went to the third round. Another question is, does the world need another messenger or social network? Even if Samsung has a couple of interesting ideas, they will instantly be copied by Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and WatsApp (underline it). At the same time, competitors already have a huge user base.

Probably, Uhsupp will be presented on February 25 at the presentation of Samsung Galaxy S9 at the exhibition MWC 2018 , and the launch of the service will take place on March 19.
