Also at Google's MWC 2018, Google revealed that the Google Lens application will not work   just on   Google Pixel devices. The other day, the function was added to Google Photos . Now it became known that the service earned through the camera on the latest flagship smartphones Samsung: Galaxy S8 / S8 +, Galaxy S9 / S9 + and Galaxy Note 8.

What it is

Google Lens is a service that works on the basis of AI. It allows you to define objects through the device's camera. In this case, in some cases, the software is able to determine not only the object itself, but also its class, view or, for example, the model. Also there is an opportunity to learn about the sights and translate the menu in restaurants.

When to expect

The application will work on all flagship devices that support Google Assistant. Therefore, in the near future, Samsung's top-end smartphones will be added to the flagships of Samsung (HMD), LG, Motorola, Sony, Huawei, Apple, etc.
