Xiaomi is actively preparing for the IPO and has already sent out financial statements to potential investors. But the information was not kept secret - the documents fell into the hands of journalists of Chinese publications.

Growth continues

According to the published materials, 2015 Xiaomi finished with a loss of 980 million yuan or $ 155 million (we will continue to indicate the amount in US dollars). In 2016, the manufacturer came in a plus with $ 144 million profit. In 2017, it jumped immediately to $ 1.2 billion, and annual revenue was $ 17.6 billion.

Xiaomi is among the top five largest manufacturers of smartphones, but the company's main revenue comes from services. Most of them are widely known only in China. If the cloud service Mi Cloud works for us, then the payment system Mi Pay, virtual operator Mi Mobile or lending services are not yet available on the international market.

By 2019, the company expects to increase revenue to $ 38.2 billion.

How much does Xiaomi cost?

Now the market capitalization of Xiaomi is $ 68 billion. If the company enters the financial exchange in the fourth quarter, by the end of 2018 its cost will be from $ 85.4 to $ 135.1 billion, depending on the results of the IPO.

Members List

According to Xiaomi's internal statistics, 132 million people worldwide use the smartphone every day or 162 million a month. On average, the devices are used for 5 hours and 12 minutes a day.

Meanwhile, the monthly audience of MIUI exceeds 300 million users. This means that almost half of the devices with the Xiaomi shell are manufactured by other companies. Apparently, the statistics also take into account the mountains of fakes.
