Xiaomi Mi 7 Plus can get a fingerprint scanner under the screen

The company Xiaomi just yesterday introduced a smartphone Mi Mix 2S . And today there was interesting information about the flagship smartphone Mi 7 Plus.

What is known

Developers resource XDA-Developers found mentions of two smartphones of the company with the code names Dipper and Dipperold (old from English old). The first name belongs to Mi 7, and the second, according to XDA, is the old prototype smartphone with a fingerprint scanner under the screen. Most likely, Xiaomi tested this technology in Mi 7, but then abandoned this idea. But later programmers found another code name (ursa) and a picture with an unknown smartphone company, which can become Mi 7 Plus.

The smartphone has a cut-out like that of the iPhone X. In addition, the novelty will receive a Snapdragon 845, a 4000 mAh battery, an OLED matrix and a fingerprint scanner built-in under the screen.

When to expect

According to the latest information, Xiaomi Mi 7 will be presented in the summer, but about the announcement of Mi 7 Plus is still unknown. The closest competitors of smartphones will be already announced Asus ZenFone 5 , Huawei P20 / P20 Pro and Galaxy S9 / S9 + .
