The US Department of Justice began testing Huawei for   compliance with sanctions in   respect to Iran and   North Korea. It seems that Huawei can expect that   the same fate as   ZTE.

What happened

The US authorities apparently suspect that Huawei violated the embargo on   trade with   Iran and   North Korea. How long will the investigation take place and   how far did it go   - is still unknown. AT   The Ministry of Justice refuses to comment on this information.

A   here in   Huawei declare that the company follows all the laws of those countries,   who are engaged in activities, and   also to the sanctions regimes of the United States, the European Union and   The UN .

And here ZTE

This   same check in   time passed (more precisely, not   passed) one more company from   China ZTE. Behind   violation of sanctions in   Iran was fined for   1.19   bn   dollars, but recently the " punishment " was toughened . A   all due to the fact that the equipment manufacturer is not   laid off employees who were involved in the   transactions with   Iran.

AT   As a result, the American company was banned from   the next 7 years to cooperate with   ZTE, then   to sell to her   various accessories and   software. A   this means that ZTE has remained, in   First of all, without Qualcomm processors for their smartphones. Also, it may lose the license for   use of Google services .

If violations occur and   at   transactions Huawei   - it seems, after the   ZTE will join the " black list " of the United States. AND   no one   surprised, because in   States have long been " sharpening the tooth " on   Chinese manufacturers: it is Huawei and   ZTE US authorities suspect   ties with   the government of China .
