Xiaomi, perhaps, the new series of smartphones Redmi S

Xiaomi has published an interesting teaser in the Chinese social network Weibo.

What was shown

The image shows a large letter "S". There is no more information about the poster. Perhaps the manufacturer is hinting at the announcement of the Surge S2 processor, or, most likely, the Redmi S2 smartphone. The device recently passed certification in TENAA and appeared on "live" photos.

According to rumors, it will be equipped with a metal case, 5.99-inch HD + display, a Snapdragon 625 processor (as in the Xiaomi Mi A1), a 3000 mAh battery, and 2/3/4 GB of RAM and 16/32/64 GB of ROM. In addition, Redmi S2 will receive a dual main camera at 12 Mp + 5 Mp and will work on Android 8.1 Oreo, on top of which the MIUI shell is installed. Perhaps the international version of the smartphone will be released as part of the Android One program.

When to expect

While Xiaomi has not officially announced the date of the announcement of the new device. But since the company already teaser it, then the presentation will be held in the near future.
