Together with Xiaomi Mi A2 can submit another smartphone on Android One

Last week, Xiaomi Company announced its new smartphone Xiaomi Mi 6X . Now the Chinese giant is preparing for the presentation of Mi A2 (the predecessor Mi A1 on "clean" Android). But according to the information that appeared, besides him, another device within the Android One program can be shown.

News shared resource XDA-Developers. As always, the developers found the information in the firmware files. They talk about two devices with codenames "jasmine_sprout" and "daisy_sprout". "Sprout" means that both new products run under the "stock" Android without MIUI applications.

The first smartphone will receive a Snapdragon 660 processor and a dual camera with Sony IMX486 and Sony IMX376 modules (the same characteristics as in the Mi 6X). The second information device is smaller. It is known only that it is built on the basis of Snapdragon 625 chip. Such SoC is installed in Mi A1 and in the still unannounced Redmi S2 . Perhaps it will be a global version of the device. Especially, earlier Xiaomi CEO said that the manufacturer is preparing a new Redmi-smartphone on Android One.

When to expect

So far there has been no official announcement of the announcement of new products. But most likely, the presentation will take place in mid-May.
