Several sources at once published another rumor about the next generation of Samsung's flagships.

What did they tell?

According to Korean media, Samsung refused to display the fingerprint scanner in the upcoming Galaxy Note 9 , but the new sensor will receive the "anniversary" Galaxy S10. Today, the main suppliers of sensors are Synaptics and Goodfix. Both companies produce optical sensors, but Samsung has relied on more accurate ultrasound technology and creates its own solution. The only serious drawback of such scanners is the high percentage of defects in production. The Korean giant will have to solve this problem.

Meanwhile, the Chinese insider Ice Universe said that the density of pixels of the Samsung Galaxy S10 display can exceed 600 ppi. For comparison, the current Galaxy S9 has a Super AMOLED panel with a density of about 570 ppi (2960x1440 pixels at 5.8 inches). Perhaps a 4K screen? A higher resolution will improve the clarity of the picture in virtual reality, but it may affect the operating time due to the higher CPU load.

As expected, the diagonal of the screen in the flagships will practically not change. Rumors also attribute the Galaxy S10 to an improved face recognition system. The very presentation of new products is still waiting and waiting - the official announcement will take place sometime in early 2019.
