PlayStation users voted Dragon's Dogma 2 the best new game of March
The release of Capcom's Dragon's Dogma 2 RPG in March was greeted with enthusiasm by critics, but gamers, due to poor optimisation and, it seems, due to excessive promises made by the developers, massively underestimated the game and gave it a wave of hate. As a pretext for outrage, the public clung to the presence of microtransactions in Dragon's Dogma 2, although they are in every Capcom game for the last eight years and do not oblige to anything.
But, as it turned out, not all gamers are so categorical.
Here's What We Know
Every month, Sony holds a vote for the best new releases of the month that came out on PlayStation. And in March, users of Japanese consoles favoured ... Dragon's Dogma 2, while the competition was a new PS5 exclusive Rise of the Ronin and the hit rhythm action Hi-Fi Rush.
Other nominees included Alone in the Dark, As Dusk Falls, Grandia HD Collection, MLB The Show 24, Open Roads, Outcast - A New Beginning, Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection, The Outlast Trials, Unicorn Overlord, What the Golf? and WWE 2K24.
