Another Capcom success! Critics love Dragon's Dogma 2 RPG and give it high ratings
Only 24 hours are left before the release of Dragon's Dogma 2 RPG.
Capcom has released a huge number of colourful and atmospheric trailers and, apparently, everything that the developer showed and promised is true.
Critics got acquainted with Dragon's Dogma 2 and published their reviews, which say that gamers are waiting for one of the best games of 2025.
Here's What We Know
Experts almost unanimously called Dragon's Dogma 2 a perfect sequel and a superb RPG, as well as another success for Capcom.
The game has an excellent combat system, an exciting story, a filled open world that reacts to the player's actions, great music accompaniment and, in general, high-quality technical execution.
Critics noted that because of the high complexity, a large number of non-obvious mechanics and the lack of the usual option of fast movement Dragon's Dogma 2 will not appeal to all gamers, but for those who like complex and well-thought-out games - this is a real gift.
As drawbacks, reviewers noted insufficient optimisation of PC version of the game and inconvenient camera, which sometimes shows not what you need, because of which there is a high probability to lose in a complex battle.
Dragon's Dogma 2 has received the following scores so far:
- 90 points - Metacritic, PC version;
- 87 points - Metacritic, PlayStation 5 version;
- 88 points - Metacritic, Xbox Series version;
- 89 points - Opencritic, with 96% recommendation.
