Media: in development is a strategy on the universe of Star Wars from the studio Creative Assembly - the author of the popular series Total War

For several years now, Bit Reactor studio in cooperation with Respawn has been working on an ambitious strategy game based on the Star Wars universe. But it seems that this is not the only project of this genre on the cult sci-fi franchise.

Here's What We Know

As reported by Dual Shockers portal British studio Creative Assembly, known for the Total War series of strategies, is working on three new games at once, and one of them is a strategy on Star Wars.

It is emphasised that these figures are current at least as of October 2023. Sources did not provide details of the project, it is only known that the game will be similar specifically to Total War.

Thus, we can conclude that in terms of gameplay such a game will be an RTS with an emphasis on large-scale battles and a large selection of available factions, each of which has unique troops and battle tactics.

It is still unclear whether the game will be sold under the Total War brand or will be given its own name.

The latest instalment of Total War so far is Pharaoh. The game received mixed reviews and disappointed many gamers, but Creative Assembly continues to support it and is actively releasing updates and DLC.
