Every year around the middle of May Activision starts preparing for an active advertising campaign of the next part of the popular shooter series Call of Duty.

Of course, 2024 was no exception and in the network already found a teaser, which with a probability of 99% refers to Call of Duty.

Here's What We Know

Insider CharlieIntel, who specialises in Call of Duty news, has "accidentally discovered" an interesting find on the web.

He believes that the video posted on thetruthlies.com is nothing but a teaser of the game, which is rumoured to be called Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 or Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War.

The said portal has an interactive TV, one of the five channels of which broadcasts a 40-second clip. It is stylised as a chronicle from the fighters' body camera and shows some kind of covert operation.

A notable moment of the clip is Mount Rushmore with carved portraits of US presidents, but their faces are covered by masks with the inscription "The Truth Lies" (The Truth Lies) and a skull logo.

Of course, nothing directly indicates it's Call of Duty, but:

  1. Activision is famous for out-of-the-box ad campaigns;
  2. Really, it's about time they started an ad campaign;
  3. A very "random" person discovered the clip.

The full Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 presentation is already certain to take place at the Xbox Games Showcase on 9 June at 7pm (CEST), as the show's promotional banner features the same logo as the mask from the teaser that covers the face of one of the US founding fathers.
