Microsoft has officially revealed the date for the next Xbox Games Showcase and Xbox Direct

Once again, insider information has been confirmed: the Microsoft game show will indeed take place in early summer.

Here's What We Know

Microsoft has officially confirmed that the next Xbox Games Showcase will take place on 9 June at 19:00 CEST.

A special Xbox Direct dedicated to "the next instalment of our favourite franchise" will also take place immediately after the show.

Previously, journalist and insiders speculated that the company will unveil new instalments of Call of Duty and Gears at the June show, it is likely that one of these games will be the subject of the Xbox Direct.
