Apple has added Live Activities support to the Shazam app

Apple has added support for Live Activities to the app. This is a widget on the lock screen that displays the search for songs in the background. The innovation is already available to users of iOS devices. By the way, recently the Shazam app has also learnt to recognise songs that are playing in headphones.

Shazam belongs to Apple. The Cupertinians bought the app developer in December 2017. The deal was finalised in September 2018 after it was approved by regulators.
