At the SXSW 2025 panel, Hideo Kojima shared new details about Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, including new screenshots taken on a basic PlayStation 5 that showcase breathtaking landscapes and mysterious new characters, including a figure resembling Solid Snake with a headband.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will be released on 26 June. The game will have three editions, one of which is a collector's edition for $300.
