Blizzard has announced information that will delight fans of games of the famous American studio.

Here's What We Know

The famous developer said that the festival BlizzCon will not take place in 2025, but will return with a swing in 2026.

Recall, the last BlizzCon was held in 2023 and it was on it that Blizzard presented an ambitious plan for the development of World of Warcraft for the next 20 years. In 2024 and 2025, the company abandoned the event in favour of other major events, but is determined to take its festival to a qualitatively different level in 2026.

Since the first BlizzCon in 2005, we've come a long way. For the past 20 years, BlizzCon has inspired us to invent new things, push the boundaries of creativity, and create unforgettable experiences. It's important to us to put on an event worthy of our community. In 2026, you'll find opening ceremonies, panel discussions, New Moon Fair, friendly competitions, gameplay presentations, and more. But we also intend to take BlizzCon to the next level and make it an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. We approach the organisation of BlizzCon the same way we approach the creation of our games: with great responsibility to our players and respect for the community that the Blizzard universes bring together. With BlizzCon, we want to honour these strong bonds formed through our shared journey.

BlizzCon 2026 will take place on 12-13 September 2026 in Anaheim, California. Ticket sales will start shortly.
