New adventures lasting 20 years: Blizzard announced three major additions for World of Warcraft, which will be part of the Worldsoul Saga series

In September, Blizzard announced great news for fans of the Warcraft franchise: one of its creators, Chris Metzen, is back to work on it!

As it turned out, the developer did not waste time and immediately plunged into work.

Here's What We Know

At the opening ceremony of BlizzCon 2023, Chris Metzen presented Worldsoul Saga - a cycle of three major additions for World of Warcraft.

WoW has been developing and attracting millions of gamers for 20 years and, according to the developers, they have a plan to support the game "for another 20 years"!

Blizzard has revealed the names of the three add-ons that will be included in Worldsoul Saga, they will be The War Within, Midnight and The Last Titan.

So far, the developers have focused gamers' attention on the first addon - World of Warcraft: The War Within, which will be released in 2024. In it players will be offered to explore underground labyrinths and settlements of Azeroth.

The War Within will feature the return of iconic characters from the Warcraft franchise, and their actions will lead to unpredictable consequences.

As always, there will be a huge amount of new content in the game. The main innovations of The War Within are described on the Blizzard website.

World of Warcraft: The War Within pre-orders have already started, the regular edition costs $50. It includes a level up to level 70.

Buyers are also offered the Epic Edition, which gives access to beta testing and three-day early access to The War Within.

All buyers will also get the current World of Warcraft: Dragonflight addon.

As for the other two add-ons - Chris Metzen didn't reveal much about them. It is known that Midnight will return players to the old world, revitalising familiar locations, and The Last Titan will send players to Northrend.
