19 years of leadership in the global TV market: Samsung can be proud of its achievement

Research company Omdia has published its annual report, according to which Samsung Electronics has become the leader in the global TV market in 2024.
Here's What We Know
Samsung first became the top TV company in 2006 and has held that position ever since, never once losing it to its competitors.
Omdia analytics indicate that:
- 28.3 per cent of TVs sold globally in 2024 will be Samsung;
- in the premium TV segment (above $2500) the company's share is 49.6 per cent;
- among super-large TVs (75 inches or more), Samsung leads with a 28.7 per cent share;
- among QLED and OLED TVs, Samsung is the top producer with a 46.8% and 10% share, respectively, of all sales;
- Samsung's OLED TV sales will reach 1.44 million units in 2024, which corresponds to 27.3% of the total market.
Recall, Samsung previously announced that it has become the world's largest soundbar brand in 2024.
