Vivo S30 Pro Mini will receive a 6.3" display and a 6500 mAh battery

Vivo has announced the upcoming launch of its new S30 series of smartphones in China. The lineup will include two models: the standard S30 and the compact S30 Pro Mini.

This is the first time the brand is launching a "Pro Mini" in the S series.

The S30 Pro Mini will be equipped with a 6.3-inch flat-screen display, which has similar dimensions to the flagship Vivo X200 Pro Mini. The main feature of the smartphone will be a large 6500 mAh battery, which is rare for compact models. For example, OnePlus 13T with the same diagonal has a 6260 mAh battery.

As for the standard S30 model, it will have a larger 6.67-inch display and will also be equipped with a 6500mAh battery. Although the exact specifications of the rest of the details have not yet been revealed, we can expect a high level of performance at a reasonable price.

One of Digital Chat Station's well-known insiders claims that the S30 Pro Mini will feature the Sony IMX882 periscope lens used in the flagship Vivo X200 Pro Mini. This promises decent image quality for a mid-range model.

The new Vivo S30 series should be released at the end of this month in China. International versions may arrive later, probably rebranded as the V series.

In April, Vivo introduced the X200 Pro Mini in a new Light Purple colour with Zeiss cameras. The new shade retains all the characteristics of previous models and debuted alongside the new Vivo X200 Ultra and X200s phones.
