Elden Ring fans: the tabletop version of the popular game is now available for purchase
The trend of releasing board games based on popular video games couldn't avoid one of the most famous FromSoftware games and today Bandai Namco started selling Elden Ring: The Board Game.
Here's What We Know
Back in September 2022 Steamforged Games launched a Kickstarter to raise funds for the development of Elden Ring: The Board Game. The company set a rather modest goal - $180 thousand, but in two days more than $2 million was collected and the figure was constantly growing. The game was promised to be released in May 2024, but the process was delayed and only now everyone can make a purchase.
Elden Ring: The Board Game is designed for up to four players and offers sessions of up to 120 minutes. The campaign lasts 30-40 hours and can be extended to 90 hours with expansions.
Elden Ring: The Board Game will bring all the core elements of FromSoftware's video game to the board game format, including boss battles, skirmishes with common enemies, and exploration of The Lands Between.
