How's this for you, Ilon Musk? Wargaming launched Cromwell B tank into space for World of Tanks Blitz event
Wargaming is preparing for a new season in World of Tanks Blitz, and this time decided to fuel players' interest by launching a tank into space.
What is known
Although, rather "tank". A model of a modified medium tank "Cromwell B" in 1:32 scale flew into the stratosphere. The model soared into the air at speeds up to 15 m/s, flew above the ground at an altitude of 24 km and landed successfully. Now players of World of Tanks Blitz will be able to receive a virtual copy of this tank in their hangar.
For the sake of it will have to perform a number of tasks in Operation "Red Planet". The event will be held from 1 to 30 April. However, the space celebration will begin a little earlier, and from March 26 to April 5 players can unlock valuable rewards in exchange for credits, boosters, and certificates for the days premium account.
Survival mode will return to the game from March 31 to April 4, and the Target: Sheridan Rocket event will burst into World of Tanks Blitz following. The event will be held from April 9 to 16, and will allow tankers to get a closer look at the Sheridan tank, equipped with anti-tank guided missiles.
The long-awaited "Gravity" mode will return to the game from April 12 to 18, where tanks will have a new ability: they will be able to jump up and continue fighting from the air.
