Microsoft 365 commercial plans will go up in price starting next year
Microsoft has announced that pricing for Microsoft 365 commercial plans will increase next year, although the changes won't be too extensive.
Microsoft notes that 24 new applications have been added since Microsoft 365 launched a decade ago, including Microsoft Teams, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Stream, Planner, Visio, OneDrive, Yammer and Whiteboard.
As for the pricing itself, businesses should not expect to see a significant increase in costs when the changes take effect on March 1, 2022.
Microsoft Windows 365 is probably the best solution for those Apple userswho want all the best Microsoft has to offer. And while price increases are rarely welcomed, this case is unlikely to raise that buzz given the price offered:
- Microsoft 365 Business Basic (from $5 to $6 per user);
- Microsoft 365 Business Premium (from $20 to $22);
- Office 365 E1 (from $8 to $10);
- Office 365 E3 (from $20 to $23);
- Office 365 E5 (from $35 to $38);
- Microsoft 365 E3 (from $32 to $36)
These price increases will apply worldwide with adjustments in local markets for some regions.
No price changes are anticipated for education and consumer products.
